Grand Theft Auto San Andreas It is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the seventh title. Grand Theft Auto series and sequel to the 2002 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It was released for PlayStation 2 in October 2004 and for Microsoft Windows and Xbox in June 2005. Set in an open world environment where players can explore and interact in their spare time, the game focuses on the story of ex-gangster Carl “CJ” Johnson, who was brought back home after his mother’s death and just to get involved. It’s a long journey exploring the fictitious state of San Andreas, based largely on California and Nevada.[b]
The game includes references to many real-life elements of the world, such as cities, regions and landmarks, with the plot based on many real-life events, including real-life competition in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. street gangs, 1980s – early 1990s epidemic, LAPD Rampart scandal and 1992 Los Angeles riots. Unlike its predecessor, San Andreas brought with it RPG-style mechanics, customization options with both outfit and vehicle skins, a wide variety of events, and new game elements to be added to future games, including the inclusion of mini games and gambling games.
